What is Live Job Radar?
You choose the jobs you want to hear about. When a new contract matches those choices, Live Job Radar can send an instant browser alert to your connected phone or computer.
Does Live Job Radar work on mobile?
Yes. It works with Chrome on Android, Safari on iPhone through the IT Contractors UK Home Screen app, and Safari or Chrome on macOS.
Will Live Job Radar become annoying?
You control the alerts. Choose stricter job rules, set quiet hours, Snooze alerts, or turn individual devices off.
Does Live Job Radar constantly poll in the browser?
No. Your browser does not keep refreshing the site. The server checks when a new job is published and sends an alert if it matches your rules.
What is CV Analyser Pro?
CV Analyser Pro compares your CV with a specific contract. Pick a live IT Contractors UK job or paste a job description from another site.
Is my CV sent to an external AI service?
No. CV Analyser Pro does not send your CV to ChatGPT or another external AI/CV-analysis provider and does not create a permanent CV record in the CV Analyser database.
Is the IT Contractor Directory listing a Pro feature?
Yes for new Contractor IDs. New Free Contractor IDs remain private and are not listed in the public IT Contractor Directory.
What happens to my public profile URL if Pro later expires?
Your profile URL stays reserved to your Contractor ID. If Pro ends, the public profile can be hidden, but somebody else cannot take your URL.
Can recruiters contact me through my Pro profile?
Yes. Approved recruiters can contact eligible Pro profiles through IT Contractors UK without seeing your email address or phone number.
Do I need Contractor Pro to apply for a standard contract?
No. Standard contract applications remain part of the normal Free Contractor ID flow.
How do Premium Access Passes work?
A new Free Contractor ID gets 3 Premium passes for the first 30 days, then 2 passes every 30 days. Pro has unlimited Premium access.
What exactly is Early Access?
You can still read the role, but only Pro members can apply while the Early Access timer is running.
What does My Contract Matches do?
It compares your Contractor ID with the live jobs and shows stronger matches first. It does not decide whether you will be hired.
What remains free?
Your Contractor ID account, standard contract applications, Premium Access Pass allowance and the public rate-benchmarking tool remain useful without Pro.
Does Pro guarantee a contract?
No. Pro gives you better tools and more ways to find work, but getting a contract still depends on your skills, experience and fit for the role.
Is Contractor Pro automatically recurring?
No. Your payment covers 12 months. It does not renew automatically.
Why is payment manually verified?
Because returning from PayPal does not prove that a payment completed. We check the payment before activating Pro.
How much does Contractor Pro cost?
Contractor Pro is £18 for 12 months. Your regular Contractor ID remains free, and Pro does not renew automatically.
