I'm a contract Lead Business Analyst and Project Manager, and I've built my career on making transformation that actually sticks. My work is about lining up what a business wants strategically with how it really operates day to day, so change delivers on cost, risk and customer experience instead of stalling once the consultants leave. In practice that means designing Target Operating Models, mapping and improving processes, and running system implementations from end to end: procurement, requirements, API integration, UAT and cutover. I build the KPI frameworks and Power BI reporting that give people real visibility and keep delivery honest. What I'm really known for, though, is taking people with me. I was a Head of Operations before I moved into consulting, so I've carried the accountability for delivery, not just analysed it from the outside. I earn trust with directors, frontline teams, suppliers and customers, and I bring them into the change rather than doing it to them. For the first time they could see billing completeness and failure demand and hold teams to real targets. The analysis also turned up £900K of unbilled revenue and delivered £493K in cost-to-serve savings. That’s the data, KPI and insight side of your role, which is where I’m strongest. At Cambridgeshire County Council I led the transformation of a large, spread-out operational service and ran a new system in end to end, from requirements through to cutover and getting people to actually use it. I built the KPIs and dashboards that gave the service accountability for the first time. It saved £280K a year and public satisfaction went up seven points. None of that happens without coordinating cross-functional teams and outside partners to keep things moving and sort problems out as they come.
