Pardeep Gupta

Pardeep is a Test Manager with over 30 years' experience delivering testing on complex technology programmes across defence, banking, telecommunications, media and public sector organisations. He holds current, active NPPV3 and SC security clearance (valid to July 2032), a B.Sc. (Hons) in Information Technology, and ISTQB Foundation Level certification. Across his career he has led test teams of up to 60 people, working alongside major suppliers including DXC, Microsoft, Capgemini, Dell and AWS on transformation, migration and infrastructure programmes. Metropolitan Police Service — E2E Workstream Test Manager (May 2025 – July 2026) On the Command and Control Transformation Programme, Pardeep designed the end-to-end test strategy integrating three Azure-hosted applications (OnCall, OPR, Power BI) with the on-premises LifeX application. He fed into the supplier's Fixed Price Proposal and the programme's Fixed Baseline Costs, ensuring test standards, resourcing and tooling costs were properly scoped. He audited third-party supplier testing against entry/exit criteria — surfacing five critical pre-production risks and lifting the supplier quality gate pass rate to 100% — and implemented full requirements-to-test traceability in Jira, achieving 100% coverage. His defect triage and fix-forward planning cut open defects at release gates by 75%, with zero high-severity defects reaching live service. He produced governance-ready test artefacts enabling first-time-confidence go/no-go decisions for LifeX Standalone for Despatch, reported quality and readiness to the SRO and Programme Director, led the UAT/OAT phases (including RBAC configuration checks across CoLP, PDAP and BCU business areas), and ensured integration with Airwave DCS, Avaya MetPhones and NICE voice recording.
